Sizing for Leather Straps

Sizing for Leather Straps

Finding the perfect leather strap size is essential to ensure a comfortable and stylish fit for your watch. At House of Noori, we currently offer two sizes: Small and Regular. To help you choose the right size, follow our sizing guide below.

Small:
Long End: 105mm
Short End: 65mm
No. of strap holes: 6

Regular:
Long End: 115mm
Short End: 70mm
No. of strap holes: 7

How to Choose the Right Size:

1. Measure Your Wrist:
Wrap a flexible tape measure or a piece of string comfortably around your wrist, just below the wrist bone. Make sure it's snug but not tight, allowing room for comfort. Note down your wrist size in millimeters (mm).

2. Determine Your Ideal Strap Size:
Small size straps: Recommended for wrist sizes between 140mm (5.5 inches) and 165mm (6.5 inches).
Regular size straps: Recommended for wrist sizes between 160mm (6.3 inches) and 190mm (7.5 inches).

3. Alternate method:
If you currently possess a watch strap (excluding bracelets), measure both ends of the strap. For instance, let's say the long end measures 110mm, and the short end measures 80mm. By adding these two measurements together (110 + 80), you get a total of 190mm.
In this case, the closest match would be the "Regular" size, which has a total length of 185mm when you add the lengths of both ends together.

However, if you don't have a watch strap and only have a steel bracelet for your watch, please follow the recommended sizes mentioned in point 2.

4. Consider Your Preferences:
If you prefer a tighter fit, you can select a strap size closer to your actual wrist size. If you prefer a looser fit or have a wrist size on the border between Small and Regular, we recommend choosing the Regular size for added comfort. We currently do not offer a large size. But, we plan to in the near future.

5. Curved vs Standard:
Another crucial consideration is whether your watch requires a curved or regular watch strap. Click here to visit our page on Curved vs. Standard Lugs for further information.

Additional Tips:
Keep in mind that leather watch straps tend to naturally conform to your wrist's shape over time, so a slightly snug fit initially is perfectly normal. If your wrist size falls outside the recommended range for Small or Regular, please contact our customer support team for personalized assistance.
